Common Necklace Lengths: To ensure proper length take a piece of jewelry you love
and measure it with a ruler or tape measure.
15" - choker, hitting above the collarbones by about an
inch.
16" - standard, hitting approximately at the base of the hollow in between collarbone.
17" - typically hitting within a V-Neck shirt and anything longer will hit below a V-Neck.
Lariat lengths are longer and need to be measured. Typically a neck that fits a 16" standard will need a
22-inch lariat to be tied at the same point on the neck.
